Team Info

FK Budućnost Banovići is a football club from the town of Banovići in Bosnia and Herzegovina, competing in the First League of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina, which is the second tier of the nation's football system. The club's name, meaning "Future," reflects its community roots, and it plays at the Gradski Stadion Banovići. Founded in 1947, the team's traditional colors are blue and white. The club was established in the post-war period and has spent much of its history oscillating between the country's top two divisions. Budućnost enjoyed its most successful period in the early 2000s, achieving promotion to the Premier League of Bosnia and Herzegovina and managing to stay competitive among the nation's elite for several seasons. This era was marked by a gritty, determined style of play that made them a tough opponent for any team. In recent years, the club has been a fixture in the First League, consistently aiming for a return to the top flight with a squad built on local resilience. The supporters are deeply connected to the club, which is a central pillar of the small mining town. FK Budućnost Banovići remains a proud and enduring symbol of football passion in the Tuzla Canton.
