Team Info

FC Dinamo 1948 is a football club with a rich history, currently competing in Romania's top flight, the SuperLiga. Based in Bucharest, the team plays its home matches at the Dinamo Stadium, a venue synonymous with the club's past successes. Founded in 1948, the club was traditionally associated with the Ministry of Internal Affairs and developed a fierce rivalry with Steaua Bucharest. Dinamo's golden era spanned the 1960s through the 1980s, during which they won multiple Romanian league titles and cups, and boasted legendary players who also starred for the national team. The modern era has been more challenging, with the club experiencing financial difficulties and relegation, but a recent promotion has brought them back to the SuperLiga. The current squad is a blend of experienced Romanian players and strategic foreign signings, aiming to re-establish the club as a top-half team. The fan base, known as the "Dogs" or "Red Dogs," remains fiercely loyal and vocal. FC Dinamo 1948 is a historic giant working diligently to reclaim its place among Romania's football elite.
