Team Info

Farul Constanța is a historic and currently dominant Romanian football club based in the port city of Constanța, competing in the Romanian Super Liga. The team plays its home matches at the Viitorul Stadium, also known as the Farul Stadium. Founded in 1920, the club has navy blue and white as its traditional colors. The name "Farul" means "The Lighthouse," a symbol of the city on the Black Sea coast. The club has experienced multiple eras of success, but its modern peak is undeniable, having won the Romanian league title in the 2022-23 season under the guidance of legendary Romanian player Gheorghe Hagi, who has been instrumental in its recent revival through his academy. This title-winning squad, blending experienced campaigners with exceptional youth products, marked a new golden era. Currently, Farul remains a top contender, playing an attractive, possession-based style of football. The fan base is passionate and growing, proud of their team's return to the summit. Farul Constanța is a phoenix risen, once again a powerhouse of Romanian football.
