Eskisehirspor, officially known as Eskişehirspor Kulübü, is a historic Turkish football club from Eskişehir, currently competing in the TFF 3. Lig, the fourth tier of the Turkish football league system. The club plays its home matches at the New Eskişehir Stadium. Founded in 1965, Eskisehirspor enjoyed its golden age in the 1970s, famously known as the "Anadolu Efesi" (Anatolian Giants), where they finished as Süper Lig runners-up twice and won the Turkish Cup in 1971, becoming the first club outside Istanbul to win a major trophy. That team, featuring legends like Fethi Heper, captivated the nation. However, the modern era has been marked by severe financial difficulties and a dramatic fall down the divisions, a tragic decline for a club of its stature.
