Team Info

US Créteil-Lusitanos, commonly known simply as Créteil, is a French football club based in the southeastern suburbs of Paris, in Créteil. The club currently competes in the Championnat National 2, the fourth tier of French football. Founded in 1936, the club has a strong Portuguese community identity, reflected in its full name and history. The team plays its home matches at the Stade Dominique Duvauchelle. Créteil's most notable period came in the early 2000s when they achieved promotion to Ligue 2 and spent several seasons in the French second division, establishing themselves as a stable professional club. That era featured determined, well-organized teams that punched above their weight. Since relegation, the club has fluctuated between the third and fourth tiers, facing the financial realities of lower-league football in France. The modern squad works to blend local talent with experienced heads, aiming for promotion back to the Championnat National. The club enjoys a loyal and passionate local following, with a distinct community feel tied to its Lusitanian heritage. The atmosphere at the Stade Duvauchelle is intimate and vocal. Créteil remains a proud community club with a professional history, striving to regain its place in the higher echelons of French football.
