Team Info

Club NXT is a unique entity in Belgian football, serving as the reserve team of the renowned club Club Brugge KV. They compete in the Belgian Second Division, the second professional tier, which is unusual for a reserve side and provides their young players with invaluable experience against seasoned professionals. Based at the Club Brugge training complex or occasionally at the Jan Breydel Stadium, they wear the iconic blue and black of their parent club. The team was established explicitly as a bridge between the academy and the star-studded first team, allowing top prospects to develop in a competitive professional environment without going out on loan. The squad is composed almost entirely of U23 players, and their performances are closely monitored. While they cannot be promoted to the top division, their presence elevates the quality of the second tier and is a testament to Club Brugge's innovative approach to youth development.
