Team Info

Burgos Promesas is the reserve team of Burgos CF, based in Burgos, Castile and León, Spain. The team competes in the Segunda División RFEF, the fourth tier of Spanish football. As a reserve side, their primary purpose is the development of young players for the parent club's first team, which plays in the higher Segunda División. They play their home games at the Ciudad Deportiva de Burgos, a modern training complex. The squad is predominantly composed of promising academy graduates and young signings, playing under the guidance of a development-focused coaching staff. While they cannot be promoted to the same division as the first team, their season is crucial for competitive experience and growth. Results are important, but player progression is the ultimate metric of success. The atmosphere at matches is more subdued than at first-team games, attracting dedicated youth football followers and scouts. Burgos Promesas is an essential pipeline, nurturing the future stars of Burgos CF.
