Team Info

AD Ceuta is a football club based in the autonomous Spanish city of Ceuta, located on the north coast of Africa. The team has a storied history in Spanish football, most notably for its lengthy spell in the Segunda División, where it became a well-known and respected club. Their home is the Estadio Alfonso Murube, a stadium with a unique and passionate atmosphere. Founded in 1956 as Agrupación Deportiva Ceuta, the club's traditional colors are white and blue. The team was formed to represent the city in national competition and quickly became a source of great local pride. The peak era for AD Ceuta was undoubtedly its sustained period in the Segunda División from the 1970s through the 1990s, where it regularly competed against established clubs from the mainland and developed a reputation for being a tough opponent, especially at home. In recent years, following financial difficulties and relegations, the club has competed in the Tercera División and the Segunda División RFEF, working to rebuild and reclaim its former status. The fan base is incredibly loyal, supporting the team through thick and thin from its unique geographical outpost. AD Ceuta remains an iconic and historic club in Spanish football.
