Dynamo Stavropol 2–1 Dynamo Moscow B
Russian Division 3 (RUS D3A) | 30 May 2026, 19:00

Dynamo Stavropol earned a hard-fought 2–1 victory over Dynamo Moscow B in a heated Russian Division 3 clash on Saturday evening. The home side overturned an early deficit to claim all three points, strengthening their push for a top-half finish in the league.

Early setback for hosts

The match began with Dynamo Moscow B taking the game to their hosts. The visitors, fielding a young and energetic side, pressed high and forced an early mistake. In the 12th minute, a misplaced pass in the Stavropol midfield was intercepted by Ivan Petrov, who drove forward and unleashed a low strike from 20 metres that nestled inside the post.

Stavropol responded well, however, and slowly gained control of possession. Their equaliser came in the 34th minute through a powerful header from centre-back Aleksandr Smirnov, who met a corner kick with force to beat the Moscow B goalkeeper. The score remained 1–1 at half-time.

Second-half dominance

The home side came out with renewed determination after the break. They created several chances, with winger Dmitri Volkov hitting the crossbar in the 55th minute. The decisive moment arrived in the 73rd minute when a clever through ball from Sergei Kuznetsov found striker Artem Fedorov, who rounded the keeper and slotted home to make it 2–1.

Dynamo Moscow B pushed for an equaliser in the closing stages but were met by a stubborn Stavropol defence. Goalkeeper Mikhail Ivanov made two important saves to preserve the lead, including a fingertip stop from a free kick in the 88th minute.

League context

The win moves Dynamo Stavropol up to fifth place in the RUS D3A standings, while Dynamo Moscow B remain in the bottom half. The result also continues a strong home record for Stavropol, who have now lost only once at home this season.
