Radomlje 0–2 Rijeka
International Club Friendly | July 4, 2026
Rijeka proved too strong for Slovenian side Radomlje in a pre-season friendly held at the Radomlje Sports Park on Saturday. The Croatian top-flight side controlled the tempo throughout and ran out comfortable 2-0 winners.
The visitors took the lead in the 26th minute when Josip Drmić latched onto a through ball and slotted calmly past the Radomlje goalkeeper. The goal was a fine example of Rijeka’s quick transitional play, which troubled the home defence throughout the first half.
Rijeka doubled their advantage in the 63rd minute after a well-worked set-piece. A short corner was played to Franco André, who whipped in a cross that was met by Matej Mitrović for a powerful header into the top corner.
Radomlje rarely threatened, with their best effort coming from Tilen Klemenčič, whose long-range effort flashed just wide of the post in the second half. The friendly served as useful preparation for Rijeka ahead of their upcoming domestic season, while Radomlje will look to tighten up their defence before their league campaign resumes.
