Terrence Boyd
SV Waldhof Mannheim/F/
Player Info
Terrence Boyd is an American striker whose powerful physique and aerial ability have defined his career in both Europe and the United States. Born in Germany but representing the USMNT, Boyd began his professional career with Borussia Dortmund's reserves before making a name for himself at Rapid Vienna in Austria, where his robust style and goal-scoring made him a fan favorite. A move to RB Leipzig followed, but serious injuries hampered his progress. He later returned to the US to play in MLS before coming back to Germany, most recently with SV Waldhof Mannheim. At 185cm and 87kg, Boyd is a traditional target man, excellent at holding up play and dominating in the air. His journey, including 14 caps for the United States, is one of resilience, battling back from setbacks to continue playing the game at a professional level with his distinctive, physical approach.
