Jung Sung-ryong is an experienced South Korean goalkeeper known for his agility, quick reflexes, and lengthy career at the highest levels of Asian football. He first rose to prominence with Seongnam Ilhwa Chunma, where his performances helped the club win the K League title and the AFC Champions League in 2010. This success earned him a move to the prestigious Suwon Samsung Bluewings, where he became a fan favorite and a league champion. Jung was the long-time first-choice goalkeeper for the South Korean national team, earning over 60 caps and representing his country at two FIFA World Cups (2010 and 2014), as well as winning the AFC Asian Cup in 2015. After a stint in Japan with Kawasaki Frontale, he continues his career with Fukushima United FC. His honors include a K League title, an AFC Champions League crown, and an Asian Cup winner's medal. A goalkeeper of great composure and big-match experience, Jung Sung-ryong has been one of Asia's most dependable shot-stoppers for a generation.
