Omar Gaber is a pacey and energetic Egyptian right-back who provides width and defensive diligence for Zamalek SC. Now 34, Gaber's career has seen him play in Egypt, Switzerland with Basel, and briefly in Major League Soccer. He is known for his incredible stamina, allowing him to patrol the entire right flank for 90 minutes, contributing equally to defense and attack. His time at Basel was successful, yielding domestic league titles, and he has been a regular feature for the Egyptian national team, including the 2018 World Cup squad.
