Michael Frey is a Swiss striker who combines physical power with a clinical finishing touch, currently leading the line for Grasshopper Club Zürich. Born in July 1994, the 31-year-old stands at 189cm and uses his frame to great effect as a classic target man. Frey began at FC Zürich before a big move to Lille in France. He truly flourished in Belgium with Royal Antwerp, where he became a prolific scorer and fan favorite, winning the Belgian Cup. After a stint in Turkey, he returned to his roots at Grasshoppers. Frey is a complete striker: strong in the air, capable of holding up play, and possessing a powerful shot with both feet. He has also earned caps for the Swiss national team, and his goal-scoring prowess makes him a constant threat in any league he plays in.
