PolandPlayer Info
Grzegorz Tomasiewicz is a technically gifted Polish midfielder who serves as the creative engine for Ekstraklasa side Piast Gliwice. At 29, the central midfielder, who can also play in a deeper role, is known for his exceptional vision, precise passing, and ability to dictate the tempo of a match. Despite his slight 167cm frame, Tomasiewicz compensates with a low center of gravity, superb balance, and a footballing intelligence that allows him to evade pressure and find pockets of space. His career has been largely associated with Piast, where he developed through the youth ranks and became a first-team mainstay, playing a key role in their historic Ekstraklasa title win in 2019. His partnership in midfield has been central to Piast's consistent top-half finishes and European qualification pursuits. Honors include the Polish championship and the Polish Super Cup. Known for his quiet leadership and consistency, Tomasiewicz is highly respected by coaches and fans alike. He exemplifies the modern playmaker, whose technical quality and game management are invaluable assets for a team with continental ambitions.
