Norwegian Women's 1.Divisjon – 9 May 2026
Tromsø Women produced a devastating attacking display to dismantle FK Fyllingsdalen Women 7–1 away from home in the Norwegian Women's 1.Divisjon on 9 May 2026. The emphatic victory sent a clear message to the rest of the division that Tromsø are genuine promotion contenders.
First Half Blitz
The match was effectively over within the opening 30 minutes. Tromsø scored four times in a breathtaking spell. Striker Marte Johansen netted a hat-trick inside the first half-hour, with two goals coming from counter-attacks that exposed Fyllingsdalen's high defensive line.
Fyllingsdalen briefly rallied and pulled one back through a header from Ingrid Solberg in the 38th minute, making it 4–1. But any hopes of a comeback were extinguished just before halftime when Tromsø added a fifth via a long-range strike from midfielder Anna Nilsen.
Second Half Domination
Tromsø continued to press in the second half, adding two more goals to complete the 7–1 scoreline. Johansen finished with four goals overall, and winger Emma Pedersen chipped in with a brace and two assists.
What This Means
The result lifted Tromsø to 2nd in the 1.Divisjon table, level on points with the leaders and with a superior goal difference. For Fyllingsdalen, the heavy defeat dropped them to 9th, and defensive frailties will need urgent attention. The match also set a new season record for biggest winning margin in the division.
