Raufoss IL 1–0 Strømmen
Norwegian 1. Divisjon | July 4, 2026
Raufoss IL squeaked past Strømmen with a narrow 1-0 victory at the NAMMO Stadion on Saturday, keeping their promotion playoff hopes alive in the Norwegian 1. Divisjon. The match was a tense affair, decided by a single moment of quality.
The only goal of the game came in the 38th minute. Raufoss midfielder Mats Wernersson unleashed a powerful strike from outside the box that deflected off a Strømmen defender and looped over the goalkeeper into the net. Despite the fortuitous nature of the goal, it was reward for Raufoss’s patient buildup play.
Strømmen pushed for an equalier in the second half, with their best chance falling to substitute Erik Næss, whose header was brilliantly saved by Raufoss keeper Sander Løkken. The home defence held firm, and Raufoss claimed their second consecutive clean sheet.
The result lifts Raufoss into the top half of the table, while Strømmen remain in the relegation zone with just one win in their last five outings.
