Lecco 1-1 ASD Alcione — Lecco were held to a 1-1 draw by ASD Alcione in Italian Serie C on October 11, 2026, dropping two points at home after a frustrating evening in front of their own supporters. Lecco led for much of the match but could not find a second goal, and Alcione punished them with a well-taken equaliser.

Match overview

Lecco controlled possession in the first half and took the lead with a neat move through the middle. The home side created further chances but lacked a finishing touch. Alcione grew into the game after the break, pressing higher and disrupting Lecco's rhythm. The equaliser arrived just before the hour, and from there Alcione defended with discipline to secure a point.

Key moments

• 22nd minute: Lecco took the lead. A clever through ball was finished first-time into the bottom corner.

• 58th minute: Alcione equalised with a low strike from the edge of the area after a half-cleared corner.
• 72nd minute: Lecco's striker headed over from six yards.
• 84th minute: Alcione's goalkeeper made a brilliant save to deny a curling effort.
• 90+3 minutes: Lecco's last chance was blocked in a crowded box.

Tactical story

Lecco's 4-3-3 looked to overload the left side and create crossing opportunities. It worked in the first half, but Alcione's defence dropped deeper and narrowed the spaces after the break. Lecco's midfield struggled to play through the lines, and their attacks became increasingly predictable.

Alcione's game plan was based on resilience and quick transitions. They defended in a compact block and looked to strike on the counter or from set pieces. The equaliser came from exactly that approach, and their goalkeeper's late heroics preserved the draw.

Standout performers

Lecco's goalscorer was their brightest attacking threat, while the left-back delivered several dangerous crosses. However, the home side missed a clinical edge in the final third. For Alcione, the goalkeeper was the man of the match, and the midfielder who scored the equaliser combined energy with composure.

Serie C impact

The draw leaves Lecco frustrated in their push for a playoff position in Serie C. ASD Alcione will view the point as a solid away result and a sign of their growing competitiveness. In a league where away draws can be valuable, this was a tactical success for the visitors and a missed opportunity for Lecco.
