Husqvarna 0 - 7 GAIS
Sweden Cup | August 28, 2026

GAIS produced a stunning road show in the Sweden Cup, dismantling Husqvarna 7-0 away from home. What started as a routine cup tie quickly became a statement performance, as the visitors clicked in the final third with remarkable consistency and left the hosts with no answer.

Match overview

From the opening exchanges, GAIS looked sharp and aggressive. They pressed high, moved the ball quickly, and carved Husqvarna open repeatedly. The 7-0 margin reflects a performance in which the attacking line was ruthless, but it was underpinned by a disciplined midfield display that gave the home side very little time on the ball.

How GAIS took control

GAIS effectively ended the contest before the interval. A combination of early pressing and precise wide play allowed them to build a comfortable lead, and they never relented after the restart. The second half brought further goals, with the substitutes injecting fresh energy into the final third. Husqvarna, by contrast, struggled to retain possession or test the visiting goalkeeper, leaving them with almost no route back into the match.
