Match Info
Scottish Premiership: Hibernian 0-0 Livingston. Hibernian and Livingston played out a dour 0-0 stalemate at Easter Road, a match devoid of clear-cut chances and quality in the final third. Hibs enjoyed the majority of possession but struggled to break down Livingston's compact and disciplined defensive shape, resorting to hopeful crosses that were easily dealt with. Livingston offered little as an attacking threat, seemingly content to secure a point from the outset. The biggest talking point was a disallowed Hibs goal in the second half for a foul on the goalkeeper, a decision that sparked protests but was upheld. The result does little to inspire either set of fans, with Hibs missing a chance to climb the table and Livingston earning a hard-fought point in their relegation battle. Hibs' head coach was frustrated: "We lacked creativity and urgency. It's two points dropped at home." Livingston's manager was pragmatic: "A clean sheet away from home is always positive. We set up to be difficult to beat, and we achieved that."
