Solihull Moors Edge Past Hednesford Town in Tight Friendly

Solihull Moors continued their pre-season preparations with a hard-fought 2-1 victory over Northern Premier League side Hednesford Town on 18 July 2026. The match, played at Keys Park, provided a stern test for the National League side against determined lower-league opposition.

Hednesford, who are aiming for a strong season in the seventh tier, began with high energy and pressed Solihull’s defense from the first minute. Their efforts were rewarded when a rapid break down the left flank led to a cut-back that was swept home from close range, giving the home side a deserved lead inside 20 minutes.
