Dogra FC 1-5 Al-Jazeera: Away Side Deliver Five-Star Jordan Premier League Display

Al-Jazeera produced a ruthless away performance on Friday, October 16, 2026, thrashing Dogra FC 5-1 in the Jordan Premier League. The visitors were clinical, relentless, and far sharper in the final third, turning a potentially tricky fixture into a statement victory that will resonate across the division.

Dogra FC had their moments, particularly early in the second half, but they were undone by Al-Jazeera’s speed in transition and the finishing of a forward line that looked in complete control. The result boosts Al-Jazeera’s goal difference and strengthens their position in the Jordan Premier League standings, while Dogra FC are left with defensive questions to answer.

Match Overview

Al-Jazeera started on the front foot, pressing Dogra FC high and forcing errors in the defensive third. The opening goal arrived in the 8th minute, and from that point the visitors never looked back. Their movement off the ball was excellent, with midfielders making late runs into the box and wingers stretching the play.

By half-time, Al-Jazeera had a commanding lead. Dogra FC improved briefly after the break and pulled a goal back, but any hope of a comeback was extinguished when Al-Jazeera scored twice more in the final half-hour. The 5-1 scoreline accurately reflected the gap in quality on the night.

Key Moments

• 8th minute: Omar Khaled opens the scoring for Al-Jazeera with a sharp finish inside the box.
• 23rd minute: Faisal Abu Zema doubles the lead with a powerful strike from the edge of the area.
• 39th minute: Omar Khaled scores his second, finishing off a rapid counter-attack.
• 55th minute: Dogra FC pull one back through Mahmoud Awad, briefly lifting the home crowd.
• 67th minute: Omar Khaled completes his hat-trick with a composed one-on-one finish.
• 81st minute: Ahmed Sari adds a fifth, heading in from a corner.

Tactical Story

Al-Jazeera lined up with an aggressive 4-2-3-1 and used their pace on the wings to isolate Dogra’s full-backs. The front four rotated constantly, making it difficult for the home defense to maintain markers. When Dogra tried to press, Al-Jazeera played through them with quick one-twos and direct running.

Dogra FC’s goal came from a period of pressure when they pushed more players forward, but that approach also left them exposed. Al-Jazeera punished every space with ruthless efficiency, and their counter-attacking in the second half was particularly impressive. The away side’s midfield shield protected the back four well, limiting Dogra to mostly speculative efforts.

Standout Performers

Omar Khaled was the undisputed star of the show with a hat-trick, showcasing pace, composure, and excellent positioning. Faisal Abu Zema controlled the midfield and scored a fine goal, while Ahmed Sari rounded off the scoring. For Dogra FC, Mahmoud Awad took his consolation goal well and worked hard, but he received little support in the attacking third.

What It Means for the Table

This 5-1 win is a major boost for Al-Jazeera in the Jordan Premier League standings. It improves their goal difference, extends their momentum, and sends a warning to rivals chasing the top spots. Dogra FC, meanwhile, must regroup quickly; conceding five at home is a setback that could affect confidence. The head-to-head record between these clubs now makes for uncomfortable reading for Dogra, and their next match becomes an important test of character. For Al-Jazeera, the challenge will be maintaining this level of ruthlessness as the season enters its crucial stretch.
