Slovacko Women 0-9 Slavia Praha Women: Ruthless Slavia Demolish Slovacko

Slavia Praha Women produced a stunning nine-goal masterclass to crush Slovacko Women 0-9 in the Czech Cambrinus Women's Liga on Sunday. The visitors were relentless from the first minute, showcasing the gulf in class between the two sides with a display of clinical finishing, fluid movement, and unyielding pressure. The result sends a ominous message to Slavia’s title rivals and leaves Slovacko searching for answers.

Slavia, the dominant force in Czech women’s football, extended their unbeaten league run with a performance that combined technical brilliance with sheer ruthlessness. Slovacko, who had shown promise in recent weeks, were simply overwhelmed by the pace and precision of the champions.

Match Overview

The tone was set inside the first five minutes when Andrea Stašková opened the scoring with a composed finish. Slavia doubled their lead soon after through Kateřina Svitková, who curled a superb effort into the top corner. Slovacko barely had time to regroup before Tereza Kožárová made it three, pouncing on a defensive mix-up. By the 25th minute it was 5-0, with Stašková completing her hat-trick and Svitková adding her second. The halftime whistle brought no respite; Slavia scored four more in the second half, including a stunning long-range strike from midfielder Petra Bertholdová and a late double from substitute Michaela Dubcová.

Slovacko’s goalkeeper was the busiest player on the pitch, making several saves to keep the score from reaching double figures. The home side, to their credit, never stopped trying, but they were chasing shadows against a Slavia team operating at peak efficiency.

Tactical Story

Slavia set up in a fluid 4-3-3 that morphed into a 3-2-5 in possession, with full-backs pushing high and the front three constantly rotating. Slovacko attempted a deep 5-4-1 block, but Slavia’s quick passing and intelligent off-the-ball runs tore it apart. The midfield trio of Svitková, Bertholdová, and Karelová controlled the tempo, while the wingers stretched the defence at every opportunity. Slovacko’s only tactic was to defend in numbers, but once the first goal went in, the game became a procession. Slavia’s pressing was so effective that Slovacko struggled to string more than three passes together.

Season Impact

Slavia Praha Women strengthen their grip at the top of the Cambrinus Women's Liga, maintaining their perfect start to the season with a goal difference that is already daunting. Slovacko Women remain mid-table but will need to bounce back quickly to avoid a crisis of confidence. For Slavia, this result is a statement of intent: they are not just winning, they are demolishing opponents with a brand of football that few in the league can live with. The title race, if it can be called that, looks increasingly one-sided.
