Orsomarso Women 3-0 Deportivo Pasto Women: Dominant Home Display in Liga Betplay Femenina

Orsomarso Women produced their most complete performance of the Colombian Liga Betplay Femenina campaign on August 21, 2026, cruising to a convincing 3-0 victory over Deportivo Pasto Women. The emphatic result at 04:00 highlighted the hosts' attacking quality and strengthened their standing in the championship race.

Match Overview

Orsomarso took control from the first whistle, pressing high up the pitch and forcing Deportivo Pasto into immediate errors. The home side’s midfield dictated possession, while their full-backs pushed forward to create overloads in wide areas. Deportivo Pasto struggled to keep hold of the ball and spent most of the first half defending inside their own half.

The opening goal arrived after a fluid move down the left flank. Orsomarso’s winger cut inside past two defenders and delivered a low cross into the penalty area, where a forward arrived at the near post to finish first time. It was the breakthrough the hosts deserved after a sustained spell of pressure.

Second Goal and Full Control

Before halftime, Orsomarso doubled their advantage with a well-worked set piece. A corner kick from the right was met at the front post, and the header was turned in from close range. The two-goal lead gave the home side complete control heading into the break, while Deportivo Pasto needed to reorganize significantly to stay in the contest.

The second half followed a similar pattern. Orsomarso remained patient in their build-up, moving the ball quickly and stretching the visitors. A third goal arrived midway through the half when the home side broke quickly after a corner from Deportivo Pasto. A perfectly timed through ball released the substitute forward, who slotted low into the far corner to seal a comprehensive victory.

Tactical Story

Orsomarso’s aggressive pressing game proved too much for Deportivo Pasto, who were unable to build out from the back under constant pressure. The home side’s positional rotations in attack created confusion in the visitor's defense, while their width stretched the pitch and opened up central spaces.

Defensively, Orsomarso were equally impressive, keeping a clean sheet against a Deportivo Pasto side that tried to find a route back into the match but rarely threatened the goalkeeper. Orsomarso’s defenders won their duels comfortably and frequently started attacks from the back with accurate distribution.

Standout Players

• Orsomarso forward line: Combined well all afternoon, providing three goals and constant movement in the final third.
• Orsomarso midfield: Controlled the tempo and won the majority of second balls, giving the team a stable base for sustained attacks.
• Orsomarso goalkeeper: Remained focused during a quiet evening and comfortably dealt with the few crosses and shots she faced.

Liga Betplay Femenina Impact

The 3-0 win gives Orsomarso Women a valuable three points as they continue their push near the top of the Liga Betplay Femenina standings. The margin of victory could also prove important in overall tables and tiebreaking scenarios as the season progresses.

For Deportivo Pasto Women, the defeat is a tough setback and will require a strong response in their next fixture. The team showed moments of resilience despite the heavy loss, but their lack of precision in possession handed the initiative to a sharper and more decisive Orsomarso side.

The result sends a clear message to the rest of the league: when Orsomarso Women find their rhythm, they are capable of producing dominant, high-scoring performances. With the group stage and regular season increasingly competitive, this healthy victory provides both confidence and momentum.
