Matchday Recap – Botola Pro
Yacoub El Mansour 2–1 Hassania Agadir
Yacoub El Mansour claimed a vital 2–1 victory over relegation‑threatened Hassania Agadir at the Stade d’Honneur on Thursday, climbing out of the bottom three and heaping pressure on their opponents. The home side showed character to come from behind and take all three points.
Hassania Agadir opened the scoring in the 19th minute through a well‑worked set piece. A corner was flicked on at the near post, and centre‑back Ismail El Haddad rose highest to nod in from close range. The visitors looked comfortable for much of the first half, controlling the tempo and limiting Yacoub El Mansour to speculative long‑range efforts.
The match turned early in the second period. Yacoub El Mansour equalised in the 53rd minute when forward Oussama Lamarti latched onto a through ball, rounded the goalkeeper, and finished calmly into an empty net. The goal injected energy into the home side, and they took the lead in the 71st minute. A scrappy goalmouth scramble ended with Reda El Kadiri poking the ball over the line from two yards out after the Agadir defence failed to clear.
Hassania Agadir pressed for an equaliser but lacked precision in the final third. Yacoub El Mansour’s Zakaria El Hachemi made several important clearances, and goalkeeper Hicham El Allouchi was untroubled in the closing stages. The win lifts Yacoub El Mansour to 14th in the Botola Pro table, while Hassania Agadir drop into the relegation zone. For the home fans, this was a night of relief and renewed hope in their survival battle.
