Lorient U19 Run Riot with 7-1 Away Win at Saint Lo Manche FC

Lorient U19 delivered a devastating attacking display as they thrashed Saint Lo Manche FC U19 7-1 in the French U19 Youth League on 30 August 2026. The visitors were in irresistible form, scoring at regular intervals and leaving the home side shell-shocked by the final whistle.

A Fast Start in Normandy

Lorient began with clear intent, moving the ball quickly and exploiting space in behind the Saint Lo Manche defence. The opening goal arrived inside the first ten minutes, and by halftime the scoreline had already taken on a commanding look. The visitors' pressing game forced numerous turnovers high up the pitch, with their forwards clinical in front of goal.

Goals Galore in the Second Half

Any hopes of a Saint Lo Manche fightback were quickly extinguished as Lorient added to their tally within minutes of the restart. The away side continued to rotate possession smoothly and found joy particularly down the left wing, where their winger tormented the home full-back all afternoon. Saint Lo Manche managed a consolation goal to give their supporters something to cheer, but Lorient immediately restored their seven-goal cushion with another swift counter-attack.
