### Match Report: Al Seeb SC 2–0 Sur SC – Oman Professional League Al Seeb SC reinforced their reputation as one of Oman’s leading football clubs with a confident 2–0 victory over Sur SC in the Oman Professional League. The home side controlled the flow of the match from start to finish and came away with a result that underlined their quality, squad depth, and ambitions for the season. #### First Half: Al Seeb’s Domination Puts Them in Control From the opening exchanges, it was clear that Al Seeb intended to take full ownership of the game. Their pressing game forced Sur SC into repeated mistakes, and the home side created several early openings through slick passing combinations. The breakthrough came as no surprise when Al Seeb surged forward in numbers, slicing open the Sur SC defence with a decisive final pass to make it 1–0. Rather than sitting on their lead, Al Seeb maintained a high tempo and continued to push Sur SC deep into their own half. The visitors struggled to retain possession for extended periods and frequently resorted to long clearances in order to escape the Al Seeb press. By the time the half-time whistle arrived, the hosts had established a clear territorial and technical advantage. #### Second Half: Sur SC Unable to Find a Way Back After the break, Sur SC attempted to be bolder, committing more men forward in an effort to find their way back into the contest. This left additional space behind their defence, a fact Al Seeb exploited with intelligence. The home side doubled their lead with a well-taken finish that gave Sur SC a mountain to climb. Sur SC still attempted to force their way back, winning a series of corner kicks and free-kicks inside Al Seeb’s half. But the Al Seeb backline remained calm and organised, cutting out crosses and dealing comfortably with direct balls into the penalty area. As the game wore on, Al Seeb controlled the tempo and saw out the remainder of the match without serious concerns. #### Match Highlights and Significance - **Complete performance:** Al Seeb SC produced a dominant display in every department - **Sur SC’s struggle:** The away side rarely troubled the Al Seeb goalkeeper over the ninety minutes - **Efficiency in front of goal:** Al Seeb converted their chances at crucial intervals - **Good momentum for the hosts:** This victory strengthens their position among the early-season contenders For Al Seeb SC, the clean sheet and the margin of victory will both be sources of satisfaction. For Sur SC, this match highlighted the gap between the two sides on the night and will require a strong response in their next league fixture.
