Team Info

Corona Brasov is a professional basketball team from Brașov, Romania, competing in the Liga Națională de Baschet Masculin. The club's home arena is the Sala Sporturilor "Dumitru Popescu Colibași," a historic venue in the city. Founded in 2004, the team's colors are blue and yellow, and it operates under the ownership of a local sports association. The name "Corona" (Crown) reflects the city's regal history and the team's aspirations for supremacy. The club has established itself as a consistent presence in the Romanian top flight, with its most notable achievements being deep runs in the Romanian Cup. The modern era sees Corona Brasov as a tough, defensive-minded team that often punches above its weight against more financially powerful opponents from Bucharest. The fan base, though modest in size, is fiercely loyal and creates an intimate, supportive atmosphere at home games. Corona Brasov is a proud representative of Transylvanian basketball.
