SK Legia Warszawa captured the Poland Super Cup with a high-scoring 110-96 victory over Stelmet Enea BC Zielona Góra on September 27, 2026. In a game that showcased elite offensive firepower, Legia’s balanced attack and timely runs proved too much for Zielona Góra to overcome.

Match Overview

The opening quarter was played at a blistering pace, with both teams trading baskets and looking comfortable in transition. Legia Warszawa attacked the rim aggressively, while Stelmet Enea BC Zielona Góra countered with precise three-point shooting and sharp ball movement. Neither defense could establish control early, and the first period ended with the scoreline already in the high 20s.

Legia began to separate in the second quarter. Their defense tightened, forcing Zielona Góra into tough mid-range attempts, and their offense found a rhythm through pick-and-roll action and inside-out passing. A late first-half run gave Legia a double-digit cushion at the break, and they maintained that momentum after halftime.

Key Moments

• Second-quarter surge: Legia closed the first half on a 14-4 run, turning a close game into a comfortable lead.
• Third-quarter statement: A quick 8-0 burst to start the second half pushed the advantage to 18 and forced Zielona Góra into catch-up mode.
• Zielona Góra’s response: Stelmet Enea BC fought back with a flurry of three-pointers, cutting the deficit to single digits late in the third.
• Championship close: Legia answered with a decisive 10-2 run in the fourth quarter to seal the Super Cup title.

Tactical Story

Legia Warszawa’s offense was a model of efficiency. They pushed the ball in transition, attacked mismatches in the post, and generated open looks through unselfish passing. Their guards controlled the tempo, knowing when to speed up and when to settle into the half court. Defensively, Legia’s length bothered Zielona Góra’s shooters, and their rebounding limited second-chance opportunities.

Stelmet Enea BC Zielona Góra played well offensively for long stretches, but their defense could not string together enough stops. They struggled to contain dribble penetration, which forced help rotations and opened up kick-out threes for Legia. Zielona Góra’s three-point shooting kept them within reach, but the defensive lapses proved fatal in a high-possession game.

Standout Performers

Legia’s backcourt was outstanding, combining scoring and playmaking to keep the offense flowing. Their frontcourt dominated the paint, finishing through contact and controlling the boards. For Zielona Góra, several players reached double figures, and their perimeter shooting was impressive, but they lacked the defensive stops needed to complete the comeback.

Trophy and Season Impact

Winning the Poland Super Cup gives SK Legia Warszawa an early trophy and a significant confidence boost ahead of the domestic league season. The 110-96 final also signals that Legia will be a force to be reckoned with in Polish basketball this year. For Stelmet Enea BC Zielona Góra, the loss is disappointing, but the offensive performance showed they can score with anyone when their shots are falling.

With the final score at 110-96, the Super Cup final delivered everything fans could ask for: pace, shot-making, and a champion that made the biggest plays when the trophy was on the line.
