Thomas Bryant
Cleveland Cavaliers/C/
Player Info
Thomas Bryant is a mobile and energetic center who provides reliable interior scoring and rebounding, currently playing for the Cleveland Cavaliers. The Rochester, New York native played one season at Indiana University before entering the 2017 NBA Draft, where he was selected 42nd overall by the Utah Jazz and traded to the Los Angeles Lakers. After showing promise with the Lakers, a serious knee injury sidelined him, but he worked his way back to become a productive rotation big. He had a particularly strong stint with the Washington Wizards, where he averaged a double-double during the 2020-21 season, showcasing his soft touch around the rim and ability to stretch the floor occasionally with his three-point shot. Journeys with the Lakers (a second time), Denver Nuggets, Miami Heat, and now the Cavaliers have followed, with Bryant consistently providing a spark off the bench with his hustle, put-back dunks, and efficient finishing. At 6'10", he is a solid backup center who understands his role and plays with noticeable passion.
