Ty Jerome
Memphis Grizzlies/SG/
United StatesPlayer Info
Ty Jerome, the crafty combo guard for the Memphis Grizzlies, is a high-IQ player known for his playmaking, shooting, and steady backcourt presence. The 28-year-old from New Rochelle, New York, was drafted 24th overall by the Philadelphia 76ers in 2019 and immediately traded to the Phoenix Suns. After two seasons in Phoenix, he found a more consistent role with the Oklahoma City Thunder, where his ability to run an offense and hit outside shots made him a valuable reserve. Injuries have been a challenge, but when healthy, Jerome operates with a veteran's poise beyond his years. A trade to the Memphis Grizzlies places him in a guard rotation in need of stability and shooting. While he doesn't possess elite athleticism, Jerome's basketball intelligence and skill allow him to contribute effectively. His career path is that of a reliable backup point guard who can step in, manage the game, and keep the offense flowing, a role every contending team needs filled.
