Og Anunoby
New York Knicks/SF/
Player Info
OG Anunoby is one of the NBA's most formidable and versatile defensive stalwarts, a lockdown wing whose offensive game has steadily expanded, making him a cornerstone for the New York Knicks. Born in London, England, Anunoby played college basketball at Indiana University before being drafted 23rd overall by the Toronto Raptors in 2017. He quickly became a defensive specialist for the Raptors, using his 6'7", 240-pound frame, 7'2" wingspan, and exceptional strength to guard multiple positions. His career highlight was being a key rotational player on Toronto's 2019 NBA championship team as a sophomore. In the years following, he developed into a full-time starter and one of the league's premier perimeter defenders, often drawing the assignment against the opponent's best scorer. Traded to the Knicks during the 2023-24 season, Anunoby immediately elevated the team's defense to an elite level while also contributing efficient scoring, particularly from the corners. His main honors include an NBA championship and consistent placement on All-Defensive team ballots.
