United StatesPlayer Info
Nick Smith Jr., a guard selected 27th overall by the Los Angeles Lakers in the 2023 NBA Draft, is a gifted scorer with a smooth, fluid offensive game. Standing 6'2", he possesses deep shooting range and a crafty handle that allows him to create separation for his shot. While his rookie season was a learning process, the Lakers see him as a potential microwave scorer who can provide backcourt depth behind stars like Austin Reaves and D'Angelo Russell. His development, supported by a salary over $2.7 million, will focus on adding strength, improving his playmaking, and adapting to the NBA's defensive physicality.
