United StatesPlayer Info
Jahmius Ramsey is a scoring-minded point guard for Pallacanestro Trieste in Italy, looking to reignite his professional career after being a highly-touted prospect. The 24-year-old from Arlington, Texas, was a one-and-done player at Texas Tech University, known for his scoring prowess and athleticism, which led to him being selected 43rd overall by the Sacramento Kings in the 2020 NBA Draft. Ramsey's early professional years were hampered by injuries, limiting his NBA opportunities with the Kings and Memphis Grizzlies. He has since taken his talents overseas to develop, playing in the NBA G League and now in the Italian Lega Basket Serie A. In college, he earned Big 12 All-Freshman Team honors. Ramsey's game is centered on his ability to create his own shot, using a strong frame and quick first step to get to his spots. In Trieste, he has the chance to be a primary offensive option and showcase the scoring talent that made him a second-round pick.
