Player Info

Glynn Watson Jr. is an American point guard bringing his quickness and scoring ability to the EuroLeague stage with Lyon-Villeurbanne in France. Born on March 9, 1997, the 28-year-old, 183cm guard wears number 30 and is known for his shifty ball-handling and ability to create shots off the dribble. After a standout collegiate career where he was a prolific scorer, Watson has successfully transitioned to the European professional game. His first season overseas was a learning experience, but he quickly adapted, using his speed to break down defenses and his improved three-point shot to keep defenders honest. A key highlight was a game-winning floater in a tight EuroCup contest that announced his arrival as a clutch performer. For Lyon-Villeurbanne, Watson provides a dynamic offensive spark, capable of taking over a quarter with his scoring bursts while also developing into a more traditional playmaker. His journey exemplifies the path of a scoring guard adapting his game to thrive in Europe's team-oriented style.
