Aleksej Pokusevski
Lokomotiv Kuban/F/
SerbiaPlayer Info
Aleksej Pokusevski is a uniquely skilled forward from Serbia, currently playing for Partizan Mozzart Bet Beograd after an intriguing NBA stint. The 7-foot-tall big man was a first-round pick (17th overall) in the 2020 NBA Draft by the Minnesota Timberwolves, immediately traded to the Oklahoma City Thunder. With the Thunder, "Poku" became known for his extraordinary guard-like skills at his height, handling the ball, passing, and shooting from the perimeter, though his slender frame presented challenges defensively. After several seasons of development in Oklahoma City, he returned to Europe to join the historic Serbian club Partizan. There, he aims to refine his game and add strength while contributing to a competitive EuroLeague squad. His style remains a fascinating blend of size and perimeter skill, making him one of the most distinctive prospects from his draft class as he looks to fulfill his potential on the European stage.
